Err? *Quirks an eyebrow* Pay you say? *NEEDS money* ;-;
I never get asked for REAL commissions....I always do the Gaia ones for gold.
Sometimes....every now and then....I think I'm wasting my talent for fake money....But meh.
What can I do when only once in a blue moon someone asks for a REAL commission with REAL money to be payed? I sometimes wonder if I'll ever make it as an artist in the real world ^_^;;;

...you just need to find a way to expose your art, and i'm sure you will. Have you ever bought an artist booth at any cons, or maybe applied at any companys?

And just what sort of artist art you looking to be, anyways?

I'll save up a little money and see what I can offer you :)

Well, I've diaplayed my art at a few cons and bought a table once with a friend (I didn't really like the experiance too much. But my friend was REALLY sweet about it ^.^;;).

Can't say that I've ever applied to any companys really, seeing as how I'm not quite sure how to go about do that. Do I just send a resume or say "Hey, I do art." *Sarcasm on that last one* lol. I'm fresh out of college with an AA degree and recently got married to a man of the Air Force, which means I'll be traveling alot and can't stay in one place for too long....which is another reason I've been confused.

I'm kinda looking to be a comic cover artist, graphic designer, or freelance artist. I know Photoshop 7.0 (Like the back of my hand X3), Open Canvas 3Plus, Quark, and Illustrator (I didn't use this one too much).
Any help you could clue me into getting started with a company would be awesome, seeing as how you've worked for AP before. I'm very open to suggestions.

And commissions = good X3! :heart:
